FAQ

  • Do you charge for consultations?
Consultations are always free. 365MC offers personalized programs that take into account all situations. Do not hesitate to visit us for a consultation.
  • Can you also treat specific body parts, as opposed to overall obesity?
Yes, we can. In such cases, a special body-type management approach must be taken, since general diet methods may not achieve the desired treatment results. With extensive treatment experiences, collaboration among various obesity medical specialists, and cutting-edge equipment, 365MC obesity clinic effectively dissolves fats in particular body parts. In addition to weight management, 365MC total obesity management system provides body-type management and even skin treatment that results in confident beauty in our customers.
  • I am planning to get pregnant/currently pregnant/nursing. Can I receive obesity treatment?
Most drugs used for obesity treatment pose relatively low risks for fetuses. Considering all risks, however, we do not recommend taking drugs during pregnancy. However, lipolysis injections, meso therapy, and other body-type management programs have minimal effects on the body. As such, women who are planning to get pregnant or are currently nursing can go under treatment. In particular, as carboxytherapy does not involve an injection of drugs, it is safe enough to be administered to pregnant mothers.
  • Do you also offer obesity treatment to children?
Of course. In fact, because childhood obesity has a high risk of developing into adult obesity, we recommend active treatment for children with obesity. For children, we mainly provide behavioral treatments, sometimes accompanied by the administration of drugs that are approved for treating childhood obesity.
  • Do I need to register for a whole month?
Various weight loss packages offered by 365MC obesity clinic are specialized for optimal effectiveness depending on individual habits, diseases, and health conditions. As such, to obtain satisfactory results, we recommend taking our precision diagnoses, and tests and then participating in an obesity management program suggested by us. If it is difficult for you to receive obesity management packages, however, you may receive treatment on a visit-by-visit basis.
  • Should I be worried about the so-called “yo-yo effect,” in which my weight comes back after losing it?
Yo-yo effect refers to a phenomenon in which a person who successfully moderated weight by reducing the overall basic metabolic level rapidly gains weight afterward. In order to prevent this, patients need thorough posthoc maintenance, but even during the weight loss process, they must receive professional help that enables the selective loss of body fat (as opposed to muscles) and adequate weight loss speed. Many places that claim to manage obesity (so-called “shops”) advertise a “yo-yo-less diet.” However, to prevent such a phenomenon, professional management and patient's effort are required, and the claim that certain weight loss programs completely prevent yo-yo effect is not only overblown but also fraudulent. In fact, a small number of patients who have received our weight loss treatment have experienced their weight return, but we pride ourselves in minimizing yo-yo effect better than any other providers of weight loss programs.
  • How much does the treatment cost?
Due to medical laws in Korea, we are prohibited from disclosing our fees online. 365MC has a “request quote” feature on our new website, through which customers can ask for price information via e-mail. Use this feature to receive a quote as soon as possible.
  • I want obesity treatment, but my work is finished late in the day…
365mc treatment system specifically targets professionals who get off work late. As such, we provide services at nighttime, on holidays, and on weekends. The obesity clinic is open late as well (nighttime extended hours and days are different in each branch: Branch Information > Business Hours).
  • Are obesity treatment drugs safe?
Of course. Safety is more important than anything, more so than effectiveness, in treatment. We prescribe drugs approved by the U.S. FDA as obesity treatments. Medical doctors consult patients during every visit to monitor the effectiveness and side effects of the drugs. Even after the treatment is completed, we gradually reduce the dosage according to a schedule to ensure that excessive appetite does not return. In very rare cases, discomfort and other symptoms appear during the treatment process, but FDA-approved drugs whose pharmacokinetic mechanisms have been clearly revealed are expelled out of the body after going through the metabolic process. As such, most side effects are temporary.
  • How long do I have to receive the treatment to achieve the goal weight?
It depends on the obesity level and the goal weight of the individual, but most patients experienced significant weight loss within one to two months. Including the maintenance period, three months is the typical treatment length.
