dr. Gwendy Aniko, Sp.B.P.R.E, Subsp.M.O.(K)

dr. Gwendy Aniko is one of Indonesia’s senior plastic surgeons, with more than two decades of experience in reconstructive surgery, microsurgery, and aesthetic procedures. He completed his general surgery specialist training at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia in 1995, followed by advanced training in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Universitas Indonesia until 1997. In 1999, he pursued a microsurgery fellowship at Davies Medical School, San Francisco, United States.

Throughout his 20+ year career, dr. Gwendy has been actively involved in advancing modern plastic surgery in Indonesia. He regularly participates in national and international trainings, workshops, and symposiums, both as a speaker and as a participant. His dedication to the medical field has earned him the role of Chairman of International Affairs of the Indonesia Burn Association since 2004.

As part of his commitment to innovation and minimally invasive surgical techniques, dr. Gwendy also completed specialized training at 365mc Hospital in South Korea, the global pioneer in LAMS (Local Anesthesia Minimal-Invasive Liposuction) technology. This experience further strengthened his expertise in safe, precise body-contouring procedures with minimal downtime.

He currently serves as the President Director of akasia 365mc Indonesia, and is also actively involved as a mentor in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery at several leading universities across Indonesia. With deep expertise in microsurgery, oncoplastic surgery, and body contouring, dr. Gwendy is a key figure in the development of Indonesia’s plastic surgery field.

He is an active member of several major professional organizations, including the Indonesian Medical Association (IDI), the Indonesian Association of Surgeons (IKABI), and the Indonesian Association of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgeons (PERAPI).
